Emma Boyle
Director and Senior Speech and Language Therapist
With 10 years of experience as a speech pathologist, Emma has had the privilege of working across a variety of community-based services, including early intervention services, kindergartens and schools, and residential and community day programs. Emma has supported children and adults with a range of backgrounds including global developmental delay, autism, intellectual disability, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, and more.
Emma has a particular interest in supporting individuals who require alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems. She is experienced in using a range of tools to help enhance communication for those with complex needs.
Additionally, Emma has worked closely with children and their families to develop and maintain feeding skills, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy.
Emma takes a family- and client-centered, strength-based approach to her practice, focusing on functional strategies that enable children and families to achieve positive outcomes in their everyday lives. She is passionate about empowering families, helping them build lasting skills, and supporting children and adults to thrive in their environments.
Emma is a Certified and Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
